Sorry to dissapoint you MoneyMade, but if history is any guide, Linux will make little to no dent in Microsoft's market share. There are already several Intel-processor based UNIX products out there (SUN & SCO for example). For many years the government has used UNIX from numerous vendors as their operating system of choice. They are rapidly converting to NT. Why ? Try and find Word or Excel or anything else for UNIX. The best applications are written for the platform which has the potential for the most sales. That platform is Windows95/ WindowsNT. Network Computers have a far better chance of displacing Microsoft from the desktop, and to date, have not made much of a dent. Regards, Chris
