Dell and AXENT Partner to Provide Internet Security Solution
Dell will sell AXENT's Award-Winning Raptor Firewall
ROCKVILLE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 28, 1998--AXENT Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:AXNT - news), one of the world's largest enterprise information security solution providers, today announced a partnership with Dell Computer Corporation (NASDAQ:DELL - news), the world's leading direct computer systems company.
Dell(R) will sell AXENT's(TM) Raptor(R)Firewall with Dell enterprise servers to offer ISP's and end-users a complete firewall solution consisting of award-winning security software and server solutions. Dell will also offer a free 15-day evaluation copy of NetRecon(TM), AXENT's third-generation network security vulnerability assessment solution, to customers that purchase any Dell server and a Raptor Firewall.
