This is the balance of AOL's Q4 and year end earnings results. Recall that AOL only released their operating results in August pending finalization of talks with the SEC. These talks concerned AOL's accounting treatment for R & D in process charges in connection with their recent acquisitions of Mirabilis and NetChannel

It seems to me that AOL sure knows how to manipulate the investment community with a press release. They make their now stated $.03 gain, in Q4, look like they're setting the world on fire.
It depends now on how the analysts who follow AOL interpret the results of the SEC ruling, and how sophisticated investors are to discern what is really going on.
