The Odds are 75% to 25% that the Fed will NOT lower Rates this Week:

Why should the Fed lower interest rates prematurely so as to get caught up in a liquidity Trap as Japan has been! What is the rush to lower rates? The Market has already done that for the Fed! Banks are focusing on Debtors to take off their books; they are not looking for new customers to lend to! Lowering rates would just bring more air into the Speculative Bubble!
What is needed is for Japan to institute a policy of increased domestic demand in the form of massive tax cuts to soak up some of the excess capacity in the Far East. A lowering of rates will NOT have any positive impact on the crisis in Asia, Russia and what is developing in Latin America.
A Final Big Leg Down is yet to come in Asia and the U.S.A. RYURX here I come!
