Back and fill... Huge gap ups are usually a kiss of death. The last knucklehead says to himself "Boy, something is going on! Gotta get in!" A few mutual fund managers are probably buying so they can impress their clients. I have never seen a gap up that did not back and fill the same day. DocStone
