Rommy - Yamner is supposed to be very good. The head trader there, Steve Goldman (steve@yamner.com) has an SI newsgroup - From the Trading Desk. Very informative. He can send you info about Yamner, including a TheStreet.com article that compares Yamner with another broker (Schwab, I think). One of the interesting findings was that Yamner was always able to find a borrow for each attempted short. Schwab came up short on some of the borrows. Yamner clears through Pershing, but I think the back office just works harder than most. I have their application but have not yet set up an account. David
