Nick,
Good Lord, a last name "Stalin"? And we've been talking about Russians? I'm NOT making fun of your name, its just kind of a humorous conincidence since we've been talking about RUssians and Communists so much.
Nick, I have no idea where Zitel stock price will end up. All that I know is that it will end.....up. Me, I believe in contrarian indicators. WHen you have huge NY Times ads being taken out by Computer Asscoiates offering y2k services, you have to know the y2k cinvestment concept is ramping up in the lay media. Once Frankling Chiang gets on the cover of BUsiness week (or worse yet, Nesweek), you wait 2-3 days for huge increase in reatail sales of stock, then exit Zitel.
Pretenders to the Throne Update... I've heard the Consygen is very hard up for cash, but they refuse to release their financials. They supposedly have big deals lined up, but why in hell their big deal partners won't front them is a mystery. Perhaps they will find a shining knight, and I wish you Cosygen holders well. Zitel doesn't have this problem, because all their operations are financed by RAMAC royalties. No LTD. Zmax looks a little more promising, EDS doesn't get into bed with just anybody. But then again, IBM has been kissing and not telling with Peritus, so who knows what screwy ideas go through the heads of big-name company CEOs.
BlueShift software owners should be ecstatic. There we have it from the mouth of Kate Welling, that all the COBOL will be sent to India. "Hey, Sajit, we have the COBOL for Seven-Eleven. Says here they will fire your cousin, Narayan, for wheezing the juice on the Big Gulp machine."
All, Most big time holders of Zitel do not want to sell this year. THey want to defer profits to 1997. I expect a selloff on 1/2/97 strictly for tax purposes.
