So what you are saying is we should ignore the Hadith, or at least not take the all whole thing seriously?

I never said that Steve. However I'm pointing out that Hadith were written by men, just as the Bible was, and men do make errors. We are promised that the Qur'an is 100% purely from God and free from error. That promise is not covered for Hadith.

If there was a disagreement between Hadith and the Qur'an, we would obey the Qur'an over the hadith, not matter what.

Peace be unto you,
Norris
