Eric, I just got off the phone with a friend in Germany. He told me
that not only did Kohl loose to Schroeder, but lost BIG!! Thus
Schroeder is not forced to make a coalition with the conservatives,
and he is making a coalition with the Green Party (read a coalition
with the communists). According to my friend in Germany, this means
"Anti-business,Anti-capitalism." Since Germany is the "engine" pulling
the economic train in Europe, one can only wonder what the future
implications of this must portend.
