Aleta, we did an experiment a while back - various people on this thread with various connection speeds, viewed the demo. We all saw the same thing. I have a cable modem, and saw exactly the same thing as the people with slower, dial-up modems.

What they claim that it does is eminently doable, but certainly not unique. Lots of sites do this. The only problem is, it (at least the demo) doesn't seem to do it.

We could repeat the experiment. You game?

I'd suggest that I not participate, since nobody would beleive me, anyway. You'll have to find somebody else with a cable modem.

I only ask that you restrict the experiment to the demo page provided on the company's web site, or other page that the company might suggest viewing. (You might ask them where to see a good demo.)

Last time, PT went "beyond the banner" to the P&G site, making wild claims that he found their technology there. Might have been might not have been, but neither of us had any way of knowing.

The experiment consists of viewing a specific ad, and then comparing what everyone saw.

Of course, the best experiment would be to have various computers with different connection speeds to the Internet in the same room, viewing the same ad at the same time. This would be a good demo to do at a trade show. You might suggest it to to the company. :)
