3Dfx vs. Nvidia Law Suit

Please do pay attention. As I've been saying in numerous posts, the idea of multitexturing (or any other idea for that matter) is not pattentable. It makes no difference if you took risks to prove it as a viable idea. 3Dfx's claim is that Nvidia cloned the silicon circuitery that makes its multitexture unit. They have no holds on multitexturing in general or on the "method" which is in use in DxD. I verified this with the company on Friday.
