A good point about SQL Server. Plato will not be sold separately, so Essbase is only vulnerable within the SQL Server database market. That really makes it much less a threat than it appears to be on the surface. Would be different if we were talking about Microsoft throwing a product into a market where they have a 50%+ share (Windows, Office). I think Plato will almost be a nonfactor for Essbase and really immaterial for HYSL as a whole.
