Internet Media Seeks New Funding PR Newswire - September 28, 1998 13:21
BATON ROUGE, La., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Internet Media Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: USRF) announced today that it had terminated its private offering of securities, after raising $340,000. The total funding received by USRF fell short of the $600,000 offering maximum. USRF continues to pursue other sources of funding; no commitment for additional funding has yet to be secured.
When asked for comment, USRF's President, David Loflin, said, "although it seems that uncertainty in the U.S. securities markets and the current political climate have converged to make funding more difficult, we remain very optimistic that we will be able to secure the funding necessary to accomplish our short-term, as well as long-term, objectives."
