Fivedollar: At the Ceapro Annual General Meeting held on September 24, President and CEO Bob Binnendyk disclosed that discussions with the multi-national have been ongoing since October 1997. The multi-national has confirmed the science and market opportunity, and have completed qualitative market research. Quantitative market research is almost complete. Binnendyk stated that the terms of the agreement remain to be negotiated. A product launch of mid-1999 was projected – date confirmed by Doug Clement in the Journal article. The clinical trials announced by Carol Palmason will involve multi-national studies on diabetes prevention. The selection of the Ceapro diabetes screening product as a diagnostic tool for use in these studies will build Ceapro's credibility.
