Considering that VLSI book value is $12/share, every share that the company repurchases below this price actually increases the book value further. Since VLSI has $7/share in cash, in theory the company could repurchase nearly all it's shares, with the book value approaching infinity. In practice there will not be enough shares for sale below book value to achieve this, but certainly the company could use some of this cash to increase share repurchase. Perhaps with the CFO resigning and other exec. turnover, this is not at the top of management's priorities?... Jim
