Most, newer - these are the words that say unless you research the cards you will probably have the configuration not work. Unlike mac, where is just works that way, and has since 1986 or so.

In Windows, unless you can say it will always work a particular way, you are in for some configuration research before you buy. I would know, I think, having programmed all flavors of Windows and DOS since 1.0 of each.
