Nice catch !!! Yes it seems strange that they are replacing so many at once however I find it even more strange that in a couple of those cases, they are replacing banks (not especially strong right now) with software companies? I thought they normally replaced like kind companies and only due to mergers or significant market cap changes. I wonder what they know that we don't?

Are they expecting the banks to fall to the extent that they won't represent the required weighting anymore on the exchange and that the software companies are insulated enough from foreign markets that they might be able to hold the indexes up to a greater extent? Inquiring minds want to know <g> Why am I getting this feeling that I will be trading naked again soon?
