Re tomorrow's meeting's expectations:

The following quote came from a story in biz.yahoo.com-

The New York(NT) meeting will be closely scrutinized by the investment
community as analysts look for table-thumping body language from
executives and clear, optimistic guidance on the results the company
expects in the next two quarters.

''Any deviation from that, you are going to have a problem,'' said
Robert MacLellan, an analyst with Kearns Capital in Toronto. ''If they
don't pull a rabbit out of a hat tomorrow, this stock's in for some
serious downward momentum.''

MacLellan said if Nortel does succeed in banishing investor fears, a
solid rally in the company's shares should ensue.

Now the NT execs know what they have to do tomorrow. Let's all hope they can do it! Oh, and let's also hope Greenspan drops rates like he is supposed to, or the market will punish everyone.
