Joey (or anyone), I recently subscribed to Road Runner, became a convert, and I'm looking for "pure" plays in cable Internet. ATHM seems to be a good choice, are there any equipment suppliers that fall into this category? FWIW, I think that cable modem doesn't get the word-of-mouth advertising that it deserves. You get used to the speed within about 10 minutes, the only time you are impressed is when you get on someone elses 56K and remember what the rest of the world is suffering through. You then realize how slow the Internet infrastructure is, and the great potential the medium has in the future. Thanks for any help you can give... John
