These are all irrelevant to the discussion. We are talking of impeachment, which is simply a political process put in place to protect the people from an incompetent President or one who abuses his power. Any use of the judicial system, fair or otherwise, has nothing to do with impeachment. Notice that the only place the judicial system has in this process, is that the head of the Supreme Court presides over the Senate proceedings. There isn't even that much input with the House proceedings.
