Michelle - <<OT>> re: the segment on 60 Minutes.

What was alarming to me was that I think he really believes he didn't do anything wrong.

If you buy his story (which I don't) his relationship with his "best friend" (the one that did the killing) apparently has allowed him to rationalize the death of another person - in this case, a young girl. Where did he get the idea that any man, even a young man, had any business fooling around with a very young girl - in a bathroom? I think the answer is that he really didn't think that kind of thing was morally reprehensible, and that we're letting a monster out onto the streets.

The other reprehensible thing is that the DA in Clark County didn't see fit to even charge him with anything. I think he aided and abetted a felony, and no matter if the case had been lost on endless appeals or not, he deserved to spend as much time behind bars as the law could arrange by whatever means at their disposal.

Mr. K.
