Tom, my understanding is that Iomega zip drives would not have done that well, had it not been for the problems dealing with agreeing on a format for DVD, which in turn postponed it getting to market. That is why I mentioned earlier that it would be nice to see the CD's and DVD's take off like Iomega did (nice profit, in a short period of time).
