And Q3 consumption figures for the U.S. should be very good based upon preliminary data provided by the U.S. Mint. Friday's WSJ feature shows (gold) American Eagles selling at record pace in recent months; August and September alone may exceed ANNUAL sales for most of the 1990s.

WGC Q2 bulletin: "Milling-Stanley said. U.S. second quarter demand rose by 19 percent to 83.7 tonnes on the previous corresponding period, mainly on investment demand."
