I don't think it's such good news. Don't get me wrong it is certainly news in the right direction, but there are several problems with the Maxtor announcement. 1) Maxtor is not one of the big-3 2) No contract to actually use the technology 3) No numbers on how much AXC gets from each disk 4) AXC's earlier statements that first manufacturer to sign-on gets a discount All in all, I would call the annoucement minimal news. It is enough before end of year to keep the stock from falling back due to failure to meet expectations, but not enough to significantly propell it forward. I have held AXC such the pink sheets and still have 2/3 of my shares, so you can tell I am still very positive about AXC, but I just don't think the recent announcement is enough to get overly excited about.
