Brent, You State: "Now Presstek is starting to gear up the plate sales and they can't generate more than two cents. Doesn't that worry you?

Actually Brent, it does not! It is still much to early for that concern as sales of plates are only just beginning. PearlGold is only now becoming a reality. Remember, this company has had past bulk of income cut substantialy (temporarily) due to an inventory glut of imaging kits by Heidelberg. Still, they have replaced that lost income based on other sources. New products are being sold and new sources of income are being received.

I received an E-mail today stating that just over 900 QMDI's are now installed. This is an increase of about 300 since December. Each press should add a minimum of $33,000 income each year to Presstek, just in plate sales. With the inventory dwindling down...I expect Heidelberg to soon announce a resumption of kit orders and more detailed information, regarding a new press development agreement with Presstek to be shown at DRUPA 2000.

In addition, over $1. million that would have reflected in earnings but was spent last quarter on non-reoccuring expense for items including plate waste due to development, additional trade show costs, development and upgrades of suppliers and partners manufacturing capabilities and other incidentals. This company has spent money to develop technology that will increase earnings substantially in the future.

Industry guru's state Presstek is in alliance talks with many vendors and expects they will enter many new marketing agreements and technology agreements between now and DRUPA 2000 in a surge to provide direct imaging and processless thermal plates.

Further more, I have delved into the leaving of Robert Hallman from Kodak.....Let me assure you. They did not want him to leave. All sources state Hallman is considered the number one printing plate expert in the world....bar none. He was originally sought by Presstek prior to Verrando being hired but timing and commitments would not allow it then. I have heard that negotiations were long in duration and that Kodak had pulled all the stops to conserve Hallman's employment with them......to no avail. It is believed that Kodak's plate R/D unit is now in severe disaray. Others from Kodak have also recently sought employment with Presstek. It is firmly believed that the Presstek company has now built it's R/D team to include a substantial number of key engineers and scientists making them the highest caliber talent that exists in the development of thermal plate and imaging technology. With the bulk of compensation to these individuals being stock options....(above $14.00) do you believe they would be stampeding and pounding the door of Presstek if they did not realize what this company had in it's arsenal and the resulting consequence to the future stock price? I can wait for my profit Brent....as I am quite positive and confident of this companys ability and new leadership that will enable them to explode upon the industry with leading edge technology and substantial record sales.
