It's a crime here too. the policeman just didn't do his job. if I knew who he was, I'd call his supervisor, just cuz I'm mad enough. The lawyer in the family doesn't hold an active license so it doesn't do us much good. I'd rather have a mechanic, anyway. Or a plumber. Well, I've been searching for some statistics but they're all different, and I couldn't figure out where the top 5% started and I'm bored with that. The concept I'm having trouble with now is this one of "fair" taxation meaning the rich should pay more. Well, we do, so what do they mean? I'd be all for a flat proportional tax. But one of the articles I read called for a division into categories in which the lower 10% paid 10%, the next 10% paid 20%..isn't that just a sort of enforced socialism? I don't want her dead. I want her embarrassed for lying and cheating.
