You know, when someone on line first said that, I did not recall. I asked KT, and he said he could not recollect for sure. I do not believe any press release from has been issued on it, and Aware has agreements with its clients not to say. I can't confirm this one way or another, but will see what we can find out later on.
BTW, I would expect as we go forward that the vendors are going to announce support of all the line code options, to get rid of any competitive exposure. PairGain's move to do DMT, DWMT, and CAP is positioning them as the most flexible architecture. They say they will support whatever customers want. The key here will be for the technology companies to articulate to the end clients--the telcos-- what their technology actually provides over competing options, sot that they provide demand for the technologies to be implemented. If I were a vendor, I'd just do every single option possible-danny |
