The only bad news that I've heard is SUN and B have apparently been passed over in the any operating system negotiations with Apple as the NEXT operating system developed by Jobs was purchased. This should not have much impact on SUN, just a hiccup along the way. Take a look at SUN's homepage and follow the links. Something happening on January 16. Also the release of Corel Wordperect which has been converted to a JAVA base should be out shortly. I believe as more companyies transfer their software to JAVA, SUN will reap the rewards through their hardware offerings. The alternative to interpretation or compilation of Java code is a direct-execution engine built around the SUN's picoJavaTM technology
