C'mon thread! Isn't there a Democrat left willing to stand tall and say how proud they are of the man they elected?

Okay, I will respond to that question, on the assumption that, or at least in the hope that, you will not jeer at me for my having done so.

I am a lifelong Democrat. Never, ever, have I voted for a Republican; I still have a sneaking feeling that God will strike me dead with a lightning bolt if I should so much as reach up to pull the Republican lever. <gg>

HOWEVER -- I could not bring myself to vote for Clinton the last time round. So, I cast my protest vote for the only third party candidate on the ballot in my district (the candidate of the Natural Rights Party, whatever his name was).

So -- I did not elect Clinton. The country did.

I remain a Democrat, however.
