I just scheduled install of the "At Home" portal though my cable supplier, Cox. Cost me $149 install, $25 per month, plus $15 per month rental on the Cable Modem. They want $400 for the Modem! I will check it out and see if I can buy one elsewhere. They promise full time, on line, 20 times faster than a 28.8 modem setup with AOL. I have a "need for speed", so I suspect I will stay with it. If anyone wants to try an interesting portal, try dvorak.org . Dvorak has set up a very good list of sites. I am switching off of AOL, but I will keep my AOL stock, I would be nuts not to.
