Bravo! Microsoft fights back evil Larry Ellison, McNeally, et al.
<In subpoenas earlier this month, Microsoft wanted details about high-level strategy meetings among Oracle, Netscape Corp. (NSCP), Apple Computer Inc. (AAPL), IBM Corp. (IBM), Novell Inc. (NOVL) , Sun Microsystems Inc. (SUNW), Hewlett-Packard Co. (HWP) and Compaq Computer Corp. (CPQ).>
Those that call Microsoft an evil empire fail to acknowledge that their rivals hide behind the underdog cloak to pull a lot of dirty tactics that they'd yell and cry foul had MSFT done them.
This is disturbing trend in our country, these people are allowed to hammer away at MSFT without fessing up to their own dirty laundry. Reminds me of the Ken Starr travesty in a way.
Besides Apple is non compatible with most businesses, IBM makes crap hardware, Sun is way too expensive as is HP, and Compaq has that maddening proprietary setup of hardware and software. Novell ain't as broadly compatible as NT, and Netscape is slow as hell. So they ought to acknowledge they suck, and make themselves more competitive instead of crying about it. |
