ok MACD charts arithmetic vs log will have no difference at their convergence/divergence points, since by definition both moving averages have the same value at the point of crossing; thus arithmetic convergence and log convergence points will be precisely the same. The slope of the two moving average curves at convergence may be different, but unless you are using both crossings and thresholds (like over/under sold in stochastics)arithmetic vs log will only change the sensitivity of the price chart.
