Russell, Just like we have trouble with a definition, I think everyone would have a different list. And, in all honesty, I don't even know what all the weird derivatives intl. banks are using are called. So, in addition to puts, calls, index futures, interest only (IOs), Principal Only (POs), PACs, Inverse Floaters, synthetic positions, collars, etc, I would like to mention a couple that have been forgotten this decade: the Kput, which are calls on puts, and the Pcall, puts on calls. People laugh when I mention them, but back in the early 80s, I made a lot of money in a hedge fund with these things.
