Ann:
The remaining Starr info will be released this Friday. If there's nothing more than a rehash of all the "gate" accusations, the electorate will be even more disappointed with the investigation.
You refer, of course, to the first of many investigations to be completed.
Don't forget: there are two more Starr grand juries still in session, and investigations into the remaining scandals (Filegate, Travelgate, Whitewater, Madison Guarantee, and Castle Grande) continue. The Jones/Lewinsky affair is the only one to have been judged as containing potentially impeachable crimes. So far, it's the only one to directly implicate the president on criminal counts of obstruction, perjury, abuse of power, and subornation of perjury.
Coming attractions may include sensitive technology transfer to Beijing, campaign finance violations, and selling political influence to the Indonesians and Chinese. The Attorney General is reviewing evidence of campaign finance violations now and will decide whether or not to appoint another Special Prosecutor.
Regardless of what the electorate says, we're a long way from the end of this.
