Kelcord International Announces Ore Processing to Begin

BOHEMIA, N.Y., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Kelcord International, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: KLCI - news), announces that it will begin the commercial processing of its ore next week. The processing will be done on a plant that was designed and built under a contract with a private company. This plant was developed as a prototype unit and has been operating for the purposes of testing and refining of the recovery process for over six months. The plant is also being upgraded to increase its capacity.

According to Kelcord's spokesperson, Don Rose, ''We have spent the last six or seven months operating this plant for the purpose of maximizing the recovery process and to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the plant design. It is now time to utilize this plant, and the knowledge we have gained for the purpose of generating income. Ore has been shipped to the plant and is awaiting processing. We are extremely excited to be taking this step. This is the culmination of years of work, research, testing and development.''

It is anticipated that the income stream derived from the operation of this plant will facilitate the construction of additional processing facilities. Furthermore, negotiations are continuing with Science Applications International Corporation, SAIC, for the utilization of their already existing plant in Idaho for the processing of Kelcord's ore. The successful conclusion of these negotiations would add an additional processing plant to Kelcord's lineup. Testing has also been extensively conducted on this SAIC plant over the past year and results have been very positive.
