Hello Dale,

I do not mean it to be that way BUT there is no one way to do things.... If I were trading with a two to four week window I would be using MACD (8-17-9) or Parabolic SAR for my exits. If I were looking to go longer, say two to four months, I would be looking at Dahl or MACD (13-34-89) for my exits.

Another way to play it would be to use a MACD(8-17-9) BUT put it on a weekly chart. That would give you a longer term view. Now remember that using a weekly would not give you great exits. That's why I use them for trend and not entry and exit...

It all gets down to the type of trader you are. The problem is you do not find out the type of trader you are until you trade...
