Intelect and Dell Sign Agreement for LANscape Full-Motion Video Communications

RICHARDSON, Texas, Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Intelect Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: ICOM), a leading provider of products and services for the seamless integration of voice, data and video
technologies, today announced that its LANscape(TM) video communications product has incorporated Dell Computer Corporation's (Nasdaq: DELL) personal computers and workstations into its turnkey
solution. By year's end, Dell(R) will also provide the factory integration of software and hardware on systems for the video communication products Intelect sells in the United States.

Intelect will now be able to offer world-class multimedia PCs and workstations with LANscape's full-motion, full-color video communications starting at $4,995, priced significantly below the market. The
agreement with Dell is designed to save Intelect customers time and money in the set-up and roll-out of enterprise video communications.

LANscape is a unique, cost-effective video communications breakthrough, offering full-motion, full-color communications with each user appearing in a fully adjustable window. Utilizing IP as the transmission
protocol, LANscape can be transported across existing LAN/WAN networks using Ethernet, Internet, Frame Relay, ATM, SONET or SDH. In addition to video conferencing, LANscape features video
record and playback controls, supporting IP multicast for transmission of live or pre-recorded video from one-to-many or many-to-many.
