The day Starr sent his report to Congress CBS hit $23 7/16th and I think closed at $24 1/2. Then, over 5-6 days it moved quickly up to $28 5/8th closing and since has drifted lower and lower. And now the other shoe drops. Only thing I can hope for is once Sept ends maybe the selling pressure could ease ? Of course if they could somehow provide an earnings surprise that would be nice too. Anyway I never dreamed I'd see this pattern exist in CBS stock' not with all the 'strong-buys', etc. If CBS can deliver a net profit for '98 I'd be happy with that.

By-the-way: I haven't seen any pre-announcements from CBS regarding current 3rd qtr. So if they don't put a negative pre-announce out can I assume anything positive from that ?

Thanks
