D.N.,

As you are well aware that the situation regarding the "Otjua" concession is a very delicate one, discussions between Diaz Point and Namdeb are moving forward in "rolling over" the existing contract into a new one.

However, in the meantime and until these matters are resolved we are still under the publication ban contained in the present contract.

Whilst we cannot divulge information pertaining to exact production figures, we can say that production during the last quarter has increased substantially over the previous quarters and that following Dr. Sutherland's report we are in the process of implementing his recommendations which will enable us to stabilize production, increase diamond recovery, and delimit new zones with economic diamond content.

With regards to our other holdings, especially our Namibian Gemstones concession, the market may have not reacted to the last press release but let me assure you quite a few companies and individuals involved in the diamond industry have.

We are confident that we will be in a position to release more information in the short term.

It is not a question of "if" the market will react, it is a question of "when", rest assured that we are doing our upmost for it to be sooner than later.

Best regards,

John
