Globalink, Inc. Makes Announcement FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 29, 1998--Globalink, Inc. (AMEX:GNK - news), a leading provider of language translation solutions, announced today that its merger with Beach, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Lernout & Hauspie Speech Products N.V. has been consummated. Pursuant to the merger, 0.120610 shares of Lernout & Hauspie Speech Products N.V. common stock will be issued in exchange for each outstanding share of Globalink common stock. Cash will be paid in lieu of fractional shares.
