The discount spread works as long as you are averaging down netva while cs was dropping...problem was I didn't get enough netva at $4 and lower before we started the rise! Do the math, I think you will find that the arb works.

The main loss occurred in my initial CS position at $12.50 which I liquidated at an average $10.5 after realizing CS was headed substantially lower. The margin loss at $6 would have killed me! Now, my current position has to recover all my losses previously before I see any real return.

Long term I like what CS is doing and the prospects for an independent or merged entity! CS at $35 within 12-18 months should be easily attainable and I hope we are all still here to enjoy it! I for one won't be selling my shares until AT LEAST $30 unless fundamentals change!

$tar.
