Tero, I strongly suspect that that gap in quality in handsets will narrow a lot faster than you think. I agree its there now, as are gaps in network quality because of degrees of build-out.

CDMA does have some inherent basic technology advantages, which are important.

Qcom can for example more to faster and lower power chips, and the like. Those are the kinds of gaps that are quickly bridged, when they are not supported by software mindshare lock-in (Wintel) or dense thickets of patents on the fundamental way the technology and standards work. (Qcom, Rmbs.)
