From yesterday's PR: Kevin M. Vander Kelen, Vice President of Retail Entertainment Group concurred, ''Sweet Factory(R) stores are our most successful outlets. They are premiere centers for the distribution of ''TOUCH OF NATURE (tm)''.
From a Starlog (Retail Entertainment) filing:
STARLOG FRANCHISE CORP 10QSB Filing Date: 6/22/98 (a) Principal Business Activity
The current principal business activities of Starlog Franchise Corporation and its wholly-owned subsidiaries (Company) are the operating of retail candy stores and both wholesale and retail distribution of novelty gifts, trading cards and collectibles. The Company has decided to withdraw from the franchising and owning of Starlog and SUMON stores which sell a variety of Holographic artwork, science fiction, fantasy, horror and media-related comic books, books, magazines, games, toys, videos, apparel and related merchandise.
Any ideas why they would not market TON through their own candy stores? So far, I've been unable to reach anyone at Sweet Factory that has heard of Starlog or Retail Entertainment. I do, however, have another name and number to try.
