Son, and I mean that in the Southern way, this happened in South Dakota in 19 and 84. A few of us locals went to Beresford, South Dakota to hunt pheasants. One of the group knew the DA in the area and his dad was a farmer who had contacts. We took my '79 pick 'em up truck. The boys hunted a field and I drove down to pick them up, save them some walking. Plugs out of the shotguns, two guys on the tailgate, passenger with a shotgun, a guy on the hood, all ARMED. I got to the road and was told to drive on, state highway and drive on, went through the main street of Beresford with guns sticking out like a battleship and not a person even looked. that was normal.
