Dale, I got the 'cascading error message dialog boxes with Input Error in the title bar' in previous builds, but usually only 3 or 4. <<What list file does it look for when it starts?>> Depends on your 'save configuration option' -- the last if autosave is enabled, otherwise the one you had up when you 'saved current ...' If you can't start because the current one is invalid or deleted, change the list file displayed in hkey_current_user\|software\|quotes plus\|initial to a valid file. Save [export if using regedit] that hive first to be safe. [Understand a new QP2.EXE is promised by week's end.] [edit] See that clearinitial worked. A shame to pass up the wonders of regedit ;) Bob
