That's fine, but the previous messages in the chain had to do with more current happenings. I don't know much about Oracle, but I'm aware Larry Ellison is not widely loved. My favorite from the press is "psycho billionaire Larry Ellison". There was also that book, The Difference Between God and Larry Ellison. On the other hand:

Oracle said Microsoft "apparently believes that its status as an accused monopolist entitles it to use judicial process to delve into its competitors' most sensitive commercial information."

Remember, when DoJ subpoenas Microsoft, the information isn't made public or sent on to the competition (except for that law regarding the deposition testimony being public). Microsoft has of course assured us that information gathered here will not be shared. This reminds me of Ballmer's "Chinese Wall" between app and OS people during Windows 3.0 development.

At any rate, the legal relevance is questionable. Not that it matters, things will go through the legal process and get resolved. Congress doesn't get involved in this one.

Cheers, Dan.
