They didn't wait long! What crap BS! LT this guy should be awarded one of your heavy-duty POS accolades on the spot - a field promotion as it were. (I'm totally disgusted and I'm a gentle fellow)


"Obviously the expectation was that it would be a 50-basis-point ease, and I think that was the initial disappointment," said Randy Billhardt, co-head of block trading at PaineWebber. "I think if [the Fed] had lowered rates by 50 basis points, the thinking might have gone, 'There's significant slowing, there's something [Fed Chairman Alan] Greenspan is seeing that's more worrisome.' We got an indication from Greenspan that, all things considered, things in this economy are not that bad. After further review, it was somewhat reassuring to investors."
