Diamond, my thoughts are as follows...

xau needs to break through 78-80.In order for that to happen, gold must break and hold 300. If that happens, I will re-enter since gold will surge to 305, then 310, then hit next resistance at 315ish. Gold is quite amazing since it trades under very technical conditions...or at least it has.-g-

If gold retraces back down then I will again re-enter but at a lower price. I see no immediate need to stay in since I don't know short term where it's heading. The xau has moved up about 60% in 3 weeks. That's a nice move to take profit on. I've been taking some lessons from the Thean School of Retained Capital.

Finally, the only thing I'm missing out on is the profit from the xau move between 75(where I sold today) and 80, if gold makes another strong move before I reload. Does all that make sense?
