One man's opinion.....I have been a goldbug for a year now and have followed the gold market daily. I have never felt as bullish on Gold as I do now. Sentiment is changing. The equity markets that once were an impenetrable bullish force are now very precarious at best. The EURO is set to launch soon and WILL be competition for the dollar (I think Greenspan knows this and was reluctant to lower rates) The Long-Term Capital Manangement Fiasco is starting to surface. There are many rumours but my guess is that they were short gold and will have to cover. There are also more rumours that other Hedge Funds are at a loss. Even Ted Arnold, a notorious Gold Bear at Merrill Lynch has turned bullish on Gold. Gold could see 325 in a few weeks, maybe even higher. If gold gets moving, Golden Eagle will be in the spotlight. It will get attention, some good, some bad but it will get attention. That could speed things up a bit. If there ARE any majors that have looked at it, there will be pressure to cut a deal. I still believe there is a good amount of gold there but not the insane amounts listed in the indicated and inferred. That is based on my gut feeling of reading thousands of posts over the last 6 months, which is all we can really go on right now. You either have the faith or you don't. I still do.
