I really don't have much of an ego about my intellect one way or another. No measure I know of is in existence that can compare my intelligence overall to anyone else. Human beings like it or not need an emotional maturity in addition to intellectual capability otherwise their intelligence simply leads to their getting in creative disasters or causing misery to others. Emotional maturity is even harder to measure. My experience is that people who seem bright and mature emotionally are not neccessarily rare but not terribly common either. I tend to give myself the benefit of the doubt too much to be much good at rating my own capabilities.
I choose to avoid actual flaming. I don't care to insult strangers and truly don't care to insult someone I know. The flaming I do here is generally done without any serious malice attached and in a attempt at humor. The success of my attempts at humor are for the readers as different people will have different reactions and because I have a hard time evaluatating my posts here. I may be to close to the creation of the posts or just lack a feel for my own works in that direction. I just post and hope for the best.
As far as networking I have no objections to making money that is why I came to SI in the first place. This isn't the thread to do it though. Generally I operate with friends by PM's, E-mail, and phone calls.
